Vigil Collection Apparel was established in September 2020 by Lefhika Shaun Molebatsi, alongside Pluggjiggy, a company specializing in the sale of watches and accessories. Born on March 15, 1998, Molebatsi has infused Vigil Collection Apparel with a fusion of luxury and streetwear, creating ready-to-wear collections that reflect the current socioeconomics while incorporating personal narratives. Drawing inspiration from his upbringing, Molebatsi's designs showcase a captivating blend of modern aesthetics and nostalgic references, offering a visual commentary on style and culture. Despite his lack of formal fashion training, Molebatsi's exposure to the industry and his entrepreneurial background, and exposure to designers, have honed his understanding of garment construction. Through his clothing creations, he tells compelling stories. As both the Creative Director and the brand continue to evolve, Vigil Collection Apparel has attracted a growing fanbase, marking Molebatsi's transition from a university side hustler to an established fashion brand.
